Year 1

Year 1

Welcome to Year 1!

During the school year, the children will be covering a range of units as part of their studies. From learning about the human body to the Romans in Britain, electricity to Northern Europe; the children will learn about exciting topics to grab their interest.

Our Maths and English lessons cover all of the necessary objectives to best prepare the children for the end of Year 1 and beyond.

Please take a look at our Year 1 Curriculum Maps for further details about what the children will be doing at school each half term.

We are also busy planning some exciting activities for the children during the year.

With thanks,

Year 1 Staff
